Dining Differently: An Evening with Margan Wines

Join us at Mosman Rowers for an unforgettable degustation evening that celebrates the best of local produce and Hunter Valley winemaking.

For one night only, enjoy a curated dining menu (with canapés on arrival) paired with six exceptional Margan Wines.

Winemaker and Mosman Rowers member Andrew Margan will be hosting the evening, sharing stories from his career and the philosophy behind their award-winning, sustainably grown wines.

Founded in 1996 by Lisa and Andrew Margan, Margan Wines has become a benchmark for quality and sustainability in the Hunter Valley, with vintages that showcase the distinctive terroir of Broke Fordwich.

This is a rare chance to taste and order their exclusive cellar door wines while dining by the water in Mosman Bay.

Degustation Menu:

  • Canapés on arrival
    Fresh Oyster with champagne mignonette (gf, df)
    Gin-compressed cucumber with finger lime & sorrel (gf, df, v)
    San Daniele prosciutto with rock melon & balsamic glaze (gf, df)

  • Entrée
    Lemon myrtle cured salmon, citrus onion, passionfruit dressing, Aji Amarillo (gf)

  • Mains
    Crispy skin barramundi, potato velouté, cauliflower fioretti, herb oil (gf, df)
    Rib-eye steak, raspberry jus, spinach, parsnip crisp (gf)

  • Dessert
    Pavlova with seasonal fruit coulis (gf)
